- Sergei Vladimirovich, you`re little known about, at least, to the Dagestani fans. That`s why a short curriculum vitae would be of necessity:     
- I was born on 30 September 1968 in Mariupol, Donetsk region.
I graduated from the Lviv Higher Military Academy, specialization – military reporter, received Gold Medal for Academic Excellence. I worked for various mass media sources, then in football club Metallurg (Donetsk), was appointed as the First Vice-President of Sokol Kiev hockey club, built Kuban Krasnodar hockey team from the ground up.
- What tasks do the Anji authorities set before you?
- My task is to set the work going the way so that nothing would prevent the footballers from fulfilling the main task – to promote back to the Russian Premier League.
- You said, you worked in the Metallurg Donetsk. Correspondingly, football is a well-known area for you, right?
- Beside that I graduated from the Higher School of Football Management in Moscow.
- That`s why football is not a new business to me at all.
- How essential are the differences in organization of hockey and football clubs` activity?
- If the club aims at challenging tasks, whether it`s hockey or football, it must be a combination of professionalism, experience and respectability.
- Will you live and work in Makhachkala?
- Yes. Though I think I`ll live in the Makhachkala – Moscow airplane…
