The ball bounced back to Lakhiyalov who took a shot on goal. A great dive from one of the defenders kept the guest side from going down a goal.
The next two episodes brought attention to the referees – Golenda was fouled on twice in the penalty box, but neither of the times did the referee appoint a penalty. Anji doubled their lead thanks to a goal from Akhmedov. His goal was scored from around 30 metres out. Anji had more oppertunites to increase their lead, but were not able to add the final touch. A well desereved victory 2:0 and another clean sheet, the eleventh in all friendly games this season.
Gadzhi Gadzhiev, head coach:
"Little by little the cooperation between the players is improving and that is the most important thing. We made various changes to the team at half time, although I feel the opponent did not have the energy to withstand us the whole 90 minutes. I have already 70-80% decided on the starting line-up for the game against Krasnodar. I liked how Zhusiley came into the game. Although he still has to work on his support in defence.
