Last season Mbark played in the Belgian league and scored 10 goals in 23 games.
Boussoufa was promoted from the famous Ajax school. At 17 years old his new team became Chelsea. During the two year spell at the club, Mbark became the top goalscorer of his youth team having scored 21 goals. Such success could not have been left unnoticed – he was moved to the Chelsea reserve team. Due to lack of playing experience for the main team, he decided to move to Belgian Gent. During his first season in Gent he scored 5 goals and made 7 assists. The next season became his best – 9 goals scored and 17 assists, as well as the Player of the Year, Best young player of the Year awards. The next season he signed a four year contract for Belgian Anderlecht. In 2007 the player won the Golden Boot, in 2006 helped the team become Champion, having scored 8 goals and 11 assists. Although Anderlecht’s season was not as good as expected, Mbark won the Player of the Year award. The 2009/10 season was the most successful for him – 14 goals and 20 assists. Such stats landed him the Player of the Year award yet again.
Yesterday the 26 year old player joined Anji. His shirt number will be number 6.
