Five Russian players and two foreigners have recently joined the Makhachkala side: forward Shamil Asildarov, goalkeeper Alexander Krivoruchko, fullback Alexei Aravin and holding midfielder Grigory Chirkin. Fullback Kichin and Valery Chuperka have concluded three-year contracts with the club.
Attacking midfielder Amadu Mutari signed a four-year contract with the club. Dagestani home-grown player 31 year-old striker Shamil Asildarov, known for his performance for various RPL clubs, began his football career in Dynamo Makhachkala. He made appearances for Anji in 2008. Shamil spent the previous half a year at Luch-Energia Vladivostok making 5 contributions in 11 matches.
The 29 year-old goalkeeper Alexander Krivoruchko made appearances for Spartak Nalchik, Lokomotiv Moscow, Salut Belgrade. Prior to the transfer to Anji the newcomer defended the colours of FC Fakel Voronezh, which is a member of the Second Division Center zone. At his time Krivoruchko was on Russia U18 and Russia U21 rosters.
Fullback Alexey Aravin will celebrate his 28th birthday on 9 July. He started his career at Lokomotiv B-team, made appearances for Sibir Novosibirsk (including the Europa League qualifiers and the RPL matches), Volga Nizhny Novgorod, Spartak-Nalchik Tom.
The 28 year-old holding midfielder Grigory Chirkin performed for various Russian (including Lokomotiv and Sibir clubs of Moscow) and foreign (Riga, Ventspils) sides. Chirkin played two seasons for Baltika Kaliningrad of the FNL First Division club.
The 22-year old halfback Valery Chuperka is the Moldovan home-grown player. The footballer has dual citizenship - Russian and Moldovan, however, the player isn`t considered to be a foreigner in FNL.
The 21 year-old player Valery Kichin is Kirgizia U21 team captain, made 10 appearances for his country`s main team. The player began his Russian career at Volga Nizhny Novgorod, however, in the beginning of the 2013/2014 season valery moved to FNL club Khimik Dzerdzhinsk on loan. Kichin played spring part of the season in Ufa, that promoted to the Premier League that season.
Amadu Mutari scored five goals for Nigeria. The halfback started his career in Akokana club from his native country, made appearances for FC Le Mans B-team after which transferred to Metallurg Donetsk.
It`s to be noted that Asildarov, Kichin and Chuperka joined the team in the beginning of the pre-season campaign, while Krivoruchko and Mutari came to Anji disposal at Austrian camp.
