The Dagestani team held their final practice at training camp in Marbella today.
As always, it began with a game of khasball. Coaches Guus Hiddink and Arsen Akaevadvanced to the final with the head coach celebrating victory.
After the warm-up the footballers worked in squares. Willian stood out the most duringthe exercise.
Having already got the feel of the squad, he made each move with flair and evenaccompanied it with jokes. The opponents in the middle of the square couldn’t steal the ball and gave him his due for his sense of humor and skill.
Later, the coaches had the players do a rather curious exercise, which combined elementsof football and handball.
The players passed the ball to one another with their hands, but could only attempt toscore with their heads. The low-key competition raised everyone’s mood at practice.
In conclusion, the players held a two-sided game on half of the pitch. Today the blue team was a bit luckier than the orange team, 3-2.
